This weekend my husband and I will be traveling to New York City for a wedding. I've never been to NYC, so I am extremely excited! While we will be very busy with wedding festivities, I hope to at least see a couple travel spots that I have been imagining visiting since I was little!
Here is a little peak into my carry-on travel essentials for flying.
Travel Essentials
1. oxblood handbag, Emperia 2. kid leather gloves, Target 3. The Brothers Karamazov, Dostoevsky 4. Orbit gum 5. sanitizer, Bath & Body Works 6. Working Hands hand cream (lifesaver!) 7. leopard wallet 8. lipstick 9. iPhone 10. Burt's Bees
During winter, and occurring more often throughout the year, my hands become like a lizard's. Like sandpaper. Like a 90 year old woman's hands. I had never been successful at finding a cure for it, though the Body Shop hemp hand lotion and Neutrogena Norwegian formula were helpful, until I found Working Hands. It has been a lifesaver! I give it my absolute recommendation. I am also securely attached to my Burt's Bees... if I were homeless, living on the street, I would probably spend some of my panhandled money on Burt's Bees so I would never be without it!
I definitely agree that I can't travel anywhere without my Burt's Bees or hand sanitizer. Especially with all those airport germs floating around! Also, I have found that I can't travel anywhere without a copy of my passport (due to my constant fear of losing my ID at some point during my trip), a brush (you have seen my hair after a flight....), and a pack of Kleenax (for when my allergies begin to flare up and I start sneezing on my fellow passengers). The joys of traveling!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm really not the biggest germophobe, but there's something about airports and all those people that gets to me. The Kleenex is a great idea! I should add that in to my array. :)
DeleteHappy to see Brothers K there : ) I'm going to have to try that Working Hands stuff. I remember my dad using that and Lava soap.
ReplyDeleteI've really been enjoying Brothers K! That's funny that your dad uses Working Hands too. Smart man! :)
